Drinkstar GmbH ® operates various websites for your brands. We attach great importance to the protection of personal data. In general, you can visit the DRINKSTAR website without having to provide personal information. The collection of personal data is required to use some special service offers. If personal data is stored and used for the proper implementation of these service offers and for statistical purposes, this is done in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG). The extent to which and for what purposes user data is collected, stored and used on the DRINKSTAR website is set out below.

1. Non-personal (anonymous) data
When you visit the DRINKSTAR website (as well as when you visit other websites), non-personal data is automatically saved in log files. This includes, among other things, information about your anonymized IP address, the browser you use, the operating system used on your computer, the pages you visited on the DRINKSTAR website, the date and time of your visit and the last domain name website you visited. The data do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about the identity of the respective visitor and are not passed on to unauthorized third parties.

2. Personal data
Personal data is only collected, stored and processed on the DRINKSTAR website where it is necessary for the use and proper implementation of special service offers (such as e-mail inquiries). This can e.g. Identification purposes. The data collected for this can include names, first names, gender, address, telephone number, IP address and email address. Your personal data will only be saved if you have given it to us voluntarily. If you decide not to provide certain data, this may mean that you cannot use special service offers on the DRINKSTAR website or only to a limited extent.

Your data will only be collected and used by us in the context of the proper performance of the service you use and for statistical purposes. In addition, your personal data will not be used or passed on to unauthorized third parties, unless you have given your express consent. You can revoke your consent to the storage and use of your personal data at any time and without giving reasons with effect for the future. The revocation must be made in writing. Your personal data will then be deleted immediately.

3. Personal data from job applications
Handling application data requires the utmost confidentiality. For this reason, we have restricted access to applications only to the HR department. Your personal data, which you provide to us in the context of your application (e.g. by post, mail or online form), will be collected, processed and stored for correspondence with you and exclusively within the framework and for the purposes of our personnel selection process. We conclude the consent for this from the active sending of the application documents or your declaration of consent in the online application process. For all applicants with whom no employment relationship is established, all data will be deleted after a period of 6 months or returned to our relief. Data from applicants that are not taken into account, but should be reserved for future advertisements, can be stored for up to 2 years after the applicant’s express consent.

4. Children
The data protection guaranteed on the DRINKSTAR website naturally also applies to the personal data of children. However, we advise that people under the age of 18 should only provide personal information with the consent of their parents or legal guardians.

5. Data security
Personal and non-personal (anonymous) data that is collected on the DRINKSTAR website is stored separately, so that no conclusions or links between these data are possible. The data is stored in such a way that it is protected against accidental or intentional manipulation, loss and destruction.

Access to the data is only possible for a few authorized persons, provided they are involved in the technical or editorial maintenance of the data.

6. Server log files
When you visit the DRINKSTAR website, information that your browser transmits to us is automatically processed on our systems for security and technical reasons. In server log files we automatically collect and store information that your browser automatically transmits to us.

This information is:

  • Browser type and browser version
  • Operating system used
  • Referrer URL (the website that referred to our website)
  • Host name and full IP address Address of the accessing computer
  • Date and time of the server request
  • The URL (website) retrieved on our systems

This data is not merged with other data sources and we do not carry out personalized statistical evaluations based on this data. The basis for data processing is Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. b GDPR, which allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or pre-contractual measures. If the DRINKSTAR website needs data with which you can be personally identified (personal data) or can be contacted, you will always be asked explicitly. The data are used to carry out a desired transaction. This can be, for example, a subscription to a newsletter or a company magazine.

7. Statistical evaluations with MATOMO
The DRINKSTAR website uses MATOMO, an open source software for statistical evaluation of visitor access. With MATOMO tracking measures, it is possible for us to statistically record the use of our website by visitors and to further develop our online offer with the help of the knowledge gained thereby and to ensure that our website is designed according to requirements.

MATOMO does not use “cookies”, the IP address is anonymized immediately after processing and before it is saved. The data processing takes place on our servers, the data is not passed on to external service providers.
